47Plate explores contact with an opted-in vehicle owner through a licence plate, without exposing their phone number or identity. The idea can extend to other physical objects.

Recovered project records describe privacy and abuse controls for contact and message relay. They preserve the intended problem and earlier design work.
Continuity
The name has also been associated with navigation ideas, but its central purpose is contact through physical objects. It is not a public directory of vehicle owners.
Current work
Earlier source is being restored under the working name 47Plate. Public enrolment, external integrations and a live contact service are not established by the archive.
